to start researching and selecting a treatment option that you will be comfortable with and more importantly give you the results you need. Choosing a treatment can be a scary prospect. You must realize that the sooner the treatment begins the sooner you will be able to slow the loss of your hair and the sooner you will see your hair recover.

As with anything that you find on the Internet there are always going to be mixed views on which treatment is best. There are some that feel that medical treatments may help but can cause more damage through their side effects. There are also those that feel that natural treatments may work but are extremely slow. There are those that feel that surgical options are too extreme. So what should you do? Which treatment is best for you?

That decision depends on you and your personal value system. Before you can make an informed decision you need to understand at least some basics on each of these types of treatments. There are pros and cons for each choice you make and only you can weigh those for yourself. Regardless of the choice you make there are some simple things you can do while you are making your decision.

First, one of the things that your hair needs is vitamin D. Vitamin D is a key ingredient in helping your hair grow thicker and faster. There is no doubt as to the benefits of Vitamin D to our overall health. You could take a good dose of Vitamin D with your daily regiment of vitamins and minerals or you could try to get out in the sunshine for a few minutes every day. A little sunshine and fresh hair also relieves our stress levels that can also be a contributing factor to hair loss.

Getting some extra vitamins and minerals in your body can also enhance your overall health. Omega 3 fatty acids from fish like salmon and trout two or three times each week can do much for your overall health. These fatty acids help build up your hair, skin and nails making them stronger and healthier.

Those vitamins and minerals go hand in hand with making a change in your daily eating habits. Like most people there is a tendency to eat the same types of foods each day. Try changing up your diet and include a wider variety of foods. Eating something from every food group each day could give your body some nutrient that it is missing. You might be surprised to find that your body has more energy and will be able to do more because of the change.

We all know the damaging affects of stress on the body. Our hair is a perfect mirror that reflects the stress levels in our body. If your lifestyle has increased your stress level to this point try a change in venue. Take a break from all of the hassles that are overwhelming you. Don’t worry, whatever is causing you so much trouble will be there when you get back. People will steal many things from you but you can rest assured they will not take your problems. Getting away from it all for even a short amount of time can help you to approach your problem with fresh new eyes. Your hair will thank you for it in the end.

Try massaging your hair for a few minutes each day with a little eclipta alba oil. Massages can be both relaxing and stimulating at the same time. Anyone who has ever experienced the soothing effects of a massage can attest to the fact that when done properly your muscles relax and your mood is enhanced. But at the same time, massaging your head for just a few minutes each day can stimulate your hair follicles enabling them to produce more hair.

Lastly, try getting some exercise to increase your blood circulation. This will do much to stimulate the entire body. Your blood flow is essential in all areas of health. If your blood does not circulate well in the body the needed nutrients for your cells will not be of much benefit. Exercise is a way to push those nutrients to the right places.

All of these steps are interrelated and can be used to enhance our overall health. Keeping in mind that our hair is a mirror that reflects our internal well being. Regardless of your reason for your hair loss, keeping our whole body in balance with these simple steps can do much for more than just our hair.

You have watched day after day the condition of your hair gradually weaken, thin and fall out. It has been a difficult thing to face and now that you have come to grips with the whole thing, you are ready to do something about it. But what can you do?

One of the most basic solutions for thinning, weakened hair is to choose a good shampoo. But there are so many on the market, how do you know which one is the right one for your particular problem? Literally there are thousands of different shampoos and each promises to give you strong, healthy and beautiful hair, but don’t be pulled into the advertisers tricks. Do your homework first.

After you and your doctor have determined the root cause of your problem now you need to do a little bit of research. Likely your doctor has already made some recommendations for you to follow. Possibly even a list of the types of shampoos that will work well for your particular ailment. Still, you can’t just walk in the store and grab anything that sits on the shelf.

Your next step will be to find the right shampoo to fit your needs. There will be plenty out there. There will be those that smell good, those that lather good, those that will make your hair glow and those that are medicated. You need to use extreme caution in choosing because some shampoos can actually do more harm than good when you are dealing with hair loss. You have a unique problem. There is a specific reason why you are experiencing hair loss and the shampoo you choose must be able to address that specific problem in some way.

Some of the best shampoos available will be the ones that add extra
nutrients and vitamins to your hair. If your hair is thinning, look for products that work on thickening the hair. Their best assets are increasing the circulation of blood to the hair follicles and stimulation, all properties of caffeine.

Since you will be using your shampoo quite frequently, you really need to study the ingredients. Most shampoos have a long list of unpronounceable words. If it is a word you can’t pronounce, it’s a good bet you don’t know what it is. Those ingredients are possibly chemical additives. Chemical additives may help to get your hair clean but they may also lead to additional problems. Finding out what they can do will be very important for you. If you find that they may be too harsh for your hair and scalp, you may need to take your treatment in a different direction.

On the other hand, it may be worth your while to consider some of the more organic shampoos that may fit your particular needs. When you read the list of ingredients you will find that the list will be
more familiar to you. They will contain things like lavender, pomegranate, rosemary, jojoba and aloe vera. All of these are things that most of us are already using in our daily routines.

Once you have done your research and have the right shampoo to help treat your hair loss you will need to be watchful for side effects that can result. These can result from using the medicated shampoos that you may find. They can include things like scalp irritations, swelling and pain. If you experience any of these problems in your shampoo it may mean an allergic reaction to some particular ingredient in the shampoo itself. If that is the case you should stop using it immediately and consult your doctor. After all, what good would it be to stimulate hair growth and cause an even more serious problem.

An important point to keep in mind is that shampoos do not restore hair loss, nor are they capable of curing whatever has caused the hair loss. In short, shampoos may help to stimulate follicles and blood circulation. They may add vitamins and nutrients but they cannot reverse the specific problems that actually caused you you to lose your hair to begin with. It would be wise for you to consider the shampoo as a supplement to whatever medications and advice that your doctor has already given you. For successful hair regrowth and treatments always realize that your doctor is the best authority for you to rely on and not some promise on a shampoo label.

Seborrheic Dermatitis is a relatively common skin infection that causes extreme itchiness, red skin and that slowly growing flakiness that sprinkles snow like dandruff all over your clothes and if not treated it can lead to the gradual loss of your hair. While this condition may be very uncomfortable it is not an indication of anything more than an allergic reaction to certain fungi. It is neither a sign of an unsanitary lifestyle nor is it contagious.

Even though this problem is not a reflection of anything serious it can cause undue embarrassment due to the dandruff and red scaly patches on the skin. The extreme itchiness that results can have periodic flare ups that can be very painful. The only way to control this is with regular treatment.

There are many types of dermatitis and they all can be painful and uncomfortable so how can you tell what kind if you have Seborrheic Dermatitis. One key indicator is the red skin. This is a sign that inflammation is present due to an allergic reaction of some kind of fungi. The skin will also show patchy scales in some areas and be thick, dry and crusty in other areas. Your hair will show either white or yellow scales as a result of dry skin flaking and falling off. These flakes will be evident in other parts of the body and not just on your scalp.

Even though the symptoms may appear in other areas it is more commonly found in the scalp region. This condition may come and go in phases. There may be times when the skin appears to be improving and it is getting better then later another outbreak will bring all the discomfort back. However, it is important to know that the problem will never go self correct without assistance. To successfully treat this problem you must see a doctor.

When you see the doctor you need to be able to provide him with some pertinent information before he can treat you properly. First, make sure that he knows your exact symptoms. Don’t leave anything out. Even if you suspect that it is a symptom but you’re not sure, tell him anyway. It may reveal an underlying cause that needs attention.

Since some of these types of breakouts come from undue stress and trauma you may want to discuss any major life events with your doctor. Don’t be embarrassed about this. As it turns out when hair loss and reactions such as this are stress related these cases are the most likely to be reversible. A change in circumstances for the better and a relief from the cause of the stress could cause your body to self-correct and eliminate the problem all together.

Another possible cause for this that you might want to check with your doctor about is your use of medications. Unlike herbal treatments that are more natural for the body, medications react to
the body in a different way. They are stronger and more invasive. Your body may be reacting to the medication you are taking for another problem altogether.

Your first visit to the doctor should be an investigative one. A treatment option is your goal but before the doctor provides you with one you and he have to work together to find the root cause of your problem. A process of narrowing down the possible suspects may seem tedious and ineffective but it gives the doctor tools to work with. Without the right information he will not know what treatment is likely to work best. A wrong treatment because of lack of information could make the problem worse and at the very least slow down the recovery process.

A fungus causes many of these cases so in the interim a simple anti-fungal cream or shampoo may work. Some natural herbs like fresh garlic may help a little. Garlic contains a compound called Allincin that has been effective in fighting off mild cases of fungal or viral infections. Or you can try a healthy dose of chamomile tea a few times a day.

Herbal treatments are often slower in effectiveness and do not seem to work as well on major cases of these types of infections. So, while they may serve as an interim treatment it is always advisable that you see your doctor to make sure that you do not need a more aggressive form of treatment to relieve your suffering.

Seborrheic Dermatitis and similar fungal infections can be treated successfully but it takes time, patience and honesty to get to the root of the problem and the right treatment. If these steps are taken you are sure to reap some relief from the infection and see a rebirth of new hair sprout.

Many people are not really sure about what the word “alopecia” really means. If you check a variety of online resources you will find that some say that alopecia is a kind of hair loss or that it’s a disease that people can get from some outside source. If fact, there are so many varieties, explanations and opinions of the word that the novice can become truly confused.

The word alopecia comes from the Greek word “alopex” meaning “fox.” This word was chosen because of the fox’s propensity to lose its fur when it became ill. So the word “alopecia” means hair loss. It can apply to any type of hair loss whether it is on the head or other parts of the body.

To identify a specific type of alopecia another word is usually added to define where or how much hair is lost. For example, “Alopecia Areata” is used to describe a kind of patchy hair loss or a loss of hair on certain parts of the head. There is also “Alopecia Totalis” which identifies the loss of hair on the head and “Alopecia Universalis” is hair loss over the entire body.

These very clinical terms tend to make the hair loss sound worse
than it really is. The fact is that most hair loss is not a reflection of a serious illness of some kind but it is an indication of something that’s not quite right. Usually the cases come down to a simple hormonal imbalance in the body. So, if you are experiencing any type of hair loss, realize that in the majority of cases it is not serious and in time could actually self correct. That is if you make the needed adjustments in your diet or hormonal imbalance. These adjustments can easily correct the problem and your hair will quickly return to its natural state.

If you are experiencing some level of hair loss keep in mind that we all will lose some hair on average every day. This is perfectly normal. This is not alopecia. The term actually refers to an abnormal or excessive amount of hair loss. So, if you are losing more than around 100 hairs a day you might want to find out the reason.

Regardless of the underlying causes of alopecia, we can all agree that for most of us it is not something that we want to live with. Even if the cause is genetic in origin we see it as a sign of advancing age or something worse. It is not something that any of us truly want to look forward to.

Keeping that thought in mind there are things that can be done if
caught early on. Hair is produced in the hair follicle. If the follicle does not get proper nourishment or it is lacking in stimulation in some way it will stop producing new hair growth and begin to shrink. Left unchecked for too long it can shrink to a point where it will eventually die. The treatment of alopecia cannot restore hair follicles that have already died. In order for a treatment to be effective it is wise to start immediately after the first signs of excessive hair loss.

Treatment options for hair loss can vary from the very simple (changing your diet and taking vitamins or supplements) to extreme (surgery) and anything in between. Careful consideration of your choices is paramount since in most cases it will mean not just taking a few vitamins or pills each day. Especially in cases where the cause is genetic treatment will usually mean a lifestyle change. One must be committed to the treatment for the remainder of their natural life.

As always, one needs to be cautious of those who will take advantage of your concern over your hair. There are many companies out there that will promise that your hair will grow 6 inches overnight! All you have to do is apply a little of their cream and you will be all set. There are many promoters out there but they are not all legit. Take your time, evaluate and research. Some of those products can actually do you more harm than good. Only use products that have had a proven track record from well established sources can make for a very wise decision that you will be able to live with for the rest of your life.

Millions of people every day are not necessarily sure that the hair loss they experience is normal. It is expected that we will lose a little hair every day. Losing about 100 hairs on a daily basis is completely normal. But when you begin to lose more than that or if you don’t see any regrowth to replace this loss it is time to look at other factors. There is usually an underlying factor behind the change and you might need to begin to look at causes and treatments.

How do you know if your hair loss falls into the category of excessive? First look at your comb. If you notice your comb has more than the normal amount of hair after you comb it then it might be a cause for concern. When shampooing do you notice a large amount of fall out? Perhaps around your house you will see hair in places it would not be expected to be. These are clear warning signs that your hair is going through something.

Once you have determined that you are indeed losing your hair, it is time for you to determine the kind of hair loss you are experiencing. Non-scarring hair loss is usually not very serious and is easily corrected. With this type of hair loss, the actual hair follicle where the hair is produced has not been damaged. Just a few simple techniques or dietary changes and the hair will quickly begin to regrow.

On the other hand, if the hair loss is the result of scarring, the follicle has suffered some form of damaged. Because of this damage, no matter what the treatment it is unlikely that the hair will regrow.

So, why do some people lose their hair and others don’t? The reasons can vary quite widely ranging from genetics, illness, reactions to drugs, stress and physical trauma. If you are unable to determine on your own the cause of your particular hair loss, it is time to get some professional help. Once you know the cause then you can decide on an effective means of treatment.

The treatments will only be effective if the underlying cause of the hair loss does not lead to a scarring of the hair follicles. Some autoimmune diseases for example can lead to permanent hair loss. Lupus for example, is a disease where the immune system becomes overactive and begins to attack the body’s major organs. Normally the immune system kicks into gear when a foreign agent enters the body but with an overactive immunity the system begins to attack itself. The result often leads to a direct attack on the hair follicles to the point that they die off and can no longer produce new hair growth.

There are many different diseases that can lead to a scarring of the hair follicles. If caught early on treatment can slow down or even stop the loss but it can never restore the damage to the follicles and therefore cannot help the hair to grow again. That is why it is extremely important that hair loss gets checked and treated early on. The sooner the treatment is started the better chance of saving your hair.

It is not always easy for the layman to determine the root cause of hair loss. It is not always obvious and there are so many contributing factors that most would not even think about. If the signs of hair loss is clear to you but you cannot determine the cause don’t just assume it is a minor problem. Your hair is a mirror of your inner person. Excessive hair loss is a warning sign that something is wrong. Make a doctor’s appointment so that treatment can be started early on. The longer you wait the less chance you have of restoring the damage.

Regardless of the specific reason leading to your hair loss there are tons of treatment options that can be done to stem the tide. If the damage to your follicles is found to be permanent, don’t despair. There are still things that can be done.

Even those with a full head of strong and healthy hair can find one day that we are losing our hair. It is not exclusive to a specific group or kind of person. Just remember that we live in a world full of many things that can silently attack or bodies and affect our hair. Don’t hide the problem behind a wig or some other device. Find the cause and then treat the solution. You will be happier for it.

The importance of exfoliating your face and body for clear blemish free skin has been known for a while now. Have you ever stopped to consider the amount of dead cells you may have on your scalp?

Scalp exfoliation clears away dead cells allowing new healthy cells to take their place, while unclogging your hair follicles. Exfoliating encourages cell renewal, circulation and removes pore blocking sebum from your scalp, clearing a pathway for your hair to grow out of your follicles without impediment.

Whilst hair serves as a covering to your scalp, it may be difficult to notice any scalp problems until you experience unpleasant symptoms such as a dry itchy scalp. This is no excuse for your scalp to be ignored while you look after the visible skin on your face and body. Your scalp should be regularly exfoliated and while once a week may be ambitious, your scalp should be exfoliated at least once every couple of weeks.

Before attempting to exfoliate your scalp, it is very important to ensure your hair is loose (no braids, ponytails etc), and that you aren’t wearing any hair extentions. Also make sure your hair has been cleansed first, just like you would with your face and always exfoliate your scalp after you’ve washed your hair while the scalp is damp/wet and clean.

There are aren’t as many scalp exfoliants as there are exfoliators for your face and body, but this has no bearing on the quality of the products. It is best to use a product that is designed specifically for scalp exfoliation and not a two in one formula – eg. shampoo and exfoliator combined. The reason being the product cannot be expected to cleanse your hair thoroughly and exfoliate your scalp at the same time. Something has to give and according to experience, the product will only be useful for one purpose. A shampoo that contains exfoliating beads will be pretty useless as a scalp exfoliator because the exfoliating granules end up sitting on your hair strands and getting them to your scalp where they are actually needed can be a bit of a struggle.

Here are a list of our favourite scalp exfoliators in no particular order just to get you going.

There are hundreds of products that claim that they can keep you from losing hair. Most of these solutions do not work, and if they do, cause the user to have awful side effects. However, if you want a natural, relatively free treatment for hair loss you should consider looking into the Ayurvedic treatment for hair loss. Ayurvedic practitioners believe that the loss of hair is very much associated with diet and family genes. The Ayurvedic treatment for hair loss is a combination of diet, herbs, meditation, breathing exercises, aromatherapy, and oil massages.

Massages vastly improve the blood circulation to the head and hair follicles, which increases the health of the hair and also the scalp. Massaging the scalp daily for at least five minutes will significantly stimulate the circulation. This is essential for the prevention of hair loss. Bhringraj and Vitamin E oil are the most effective and the most common oils used. Not only do they aid in the prevention of hair loss, but they also help to lock in moisture in the scalp and hair roots which can help produce healthier hair. There are also other oils used for scalp massages such as almond, coconut, rosemary, Brahmi, and birch oils.

Your diet plays a major roll in hair loss. Avoid alcoholic drinks and foods high in sugar as they will stunt hair growth. Natural supplements like aloe vera and the burdock herb can stop hair loss and promote hair growth. Increasing your intake of milk, green leafy vegetables, fruits, salads, and sprouts in your diet can allow you to have the right combination of protein and fiber for healthy hair.

Most people do not actually realize that stress is a main contributor to balding and unhealthy hair. Yoga, breathing exercises such as deep breaths, and other relaxing activities can help stop hair loss. However, even if something is called a relaxing activity does not mean it will help you. Be sure that you enjoy the activity because if you do not it will not have the same effect.

If you want a natural and stress free way to stop the process of hair loss it would wise to educate yourself on the practice of the Ayurvedic treatment for hair loss. It does not require any extensive changes in your life style and is not a costly gimmick. The Ayurvedic treatment for hair loss is a wonderful solution to the dilemma of hair loss.

Have you ever wanted a natural and quick solution to a various amount of problems? Bhringaraj is an extraordinary plant that is known for its many healing properties. It is a medicinal herb that is grown in moist places as a weed all across the world. There are many benefits of bhringaraj oil ranging from the ability to regrow hair and recolor graying hair, treating acne and bug bites, and relieving stress. However, there are many other uses.

Bhringaraj oil, when used correctly for a few months, can help in restoring the original color of graying hair. The oil can also benefit those people who are suffering from balding, severe dandruff and scalp dryness. It nourishes the scalp which can help avoid split ends, thereby making it soft and easy to manage. Bhringaraj oil can be combined with coconut oil, sesame oil and certain herbs for making hair conditioners and shampoos, as well.

The oil may help to improve blood circulation in the extremities of the body, such as the fingers and toes, by regularly massaging the oil. This increases the supply of oxygen to the cells and tissues and helps to remove toxins from the body. It can also improve concentration and provides relief from headache pain.

An important advantage of Bhringaraj oil is relatively unknown. It can be highly beneficial to those women with problems of spontaneous abortions and repeated miscarriages. The oil has been proven to also provide relief from post-labor pains in the uterus and other related parts. Health professionals do not agree on the reason it is so helpful to those women who are pregnant.

For some conditions, the herb itself is more helpful than the oil extract. The bhringaraj herb helps in treating liver problems such as jaundice and cirrhosis of the liver. It also protects it from toxic substances. Eyes infections, skin diseases, hyperacidity and anemia are also treated by taking the herb orally. The leaves of the plant can be minced and made into a paste to apply to insect bites, stings and other swellings.

There are many benefits of bhringaraj oil. The herb will make your life more enjoyable and make you healthier whether you need it to relieve stress, regrow hair, or aid in child birth. However, always consult your doctor or a health professional before you start any supplements or natural remedies to be sure it will not interfere with any medication you might be taking.

Bhringaraj oil is believed to be a miracle herb. The oil extracted from the plant has been known to relieve stress, regrow and recolor hair, and relieve other problems such as inflammation. There are many bhringaraj oil reviews claiming that the weed has an extraordinary healing element. The question that everyone asks is, are these claims really based on facts and does the oil really have the healing and restorative properties that everyone says it does? We will address this question in this bhringaraj oil review.

One of the main claims that people make is that bhringaraj oil can strengthen and tame frizzy hair. This is a feasible and very possible statement. Most oils, including bhringaraj oil, are able to rejuvenate dry and damaged hair, which means that bhringaraj oil can lock in moisture if used daily, this can eliminate spilt ends and breakage.

There are numerous bhringaraj oil reviews saying that this oil can regrow and restore the natural color of hair. This may or may not be true, but it has been proven to work for some people.
