Motel Inspections

The Health Department’s Environmental Public Health Specialist is deputized by the Missouri Department of Health to conduct motel inspections in Vernon County. These inspections cover a number of health and safety items, including:

* Water supply
* Sewage and wastewater treatment and disposal
* Fire safety
* Electrical wiring
* Fuel burning appliances
* Plumbing
* Swimming pools and spas
